Little Hunter J update

This last year Hunter has surpassed some of the toughest obsticals that a baby with eyesite also endures during their first year. Hunter will turn two in Febuary and now that he is walking without any support he gets to join toddler group at the headstart building here in town. That was one of our goals for him and he met it early! Hunter is very bright and adventurous and when we sit down to teach him something it does not take long for him to catch on and learn it completely. Hunter knows where his eyes, ears, feet, and belly are. He knows how to say momma, Hi, bye-bye, no, and have a good day...well kinda.

Hunter is just now starting to really wonder what these things are that come up to him and lick him, its cute how he interact's with the dogs here at Gramma and Grampa's. There has been one part this year that we have been struggling with and still kind of are and that would be Hunter is very particular when it comes to food he used to drink alot of pediasure to help fill in the lacking of nutrition because there wernt many foods he would tolerate and sometimes it wasnt the food sometimes he really just would not open his mouth for anything but a bottle. Hunter is doing better then he was but now its sometimes he doesnt like a banana on one day but he likes it on another and sometimes its the texture of the food that he wont stand. My family and I just keep trying new foods all the time and even if he just picks it up and smells it or just brings his face to it and smells it we still have won a small victory because that gets him more familair with textures and smells and it helps ease him into the weirder things for him.

Im getting excited for the warmer months to hit now that Hunter is walking, it means more ground for him to explore a whole new world! Sergio should be comming home some time in the month of May also! His leave will be two weeks and he should be home for good at the end of the year, so of cousre I can't wait til this year is over! so again to every one HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
